Pepper in the eye - Scotch bonnet pepper. Of all of the names for it, I like the Guyanese name, ball-of-fire pepper. It works. It has happened to me before - washing your hands after chopping vegetables but forgetting to do the I just touch ball of fire pepper wash which is incredibly more thorough and requires way more soap- and, fool me fuckin' twice, I think it will again. Oh, fuck it, it has happened to me much more than twice.
